Davis Creek 1st Congregational Methodist Church is located about nine miles southwest of West Plains at the end of AB Highway.

The Church was originally a school. About 1893, a new school house, seats and desks were built. Church services, Bible study, and prayer meetings have been held in this bilding since that time.

Though sometimes few in number, Sunday School has been held since 1915.
When Howell County schools were being consolidated, Davis Creek 1st Congregational Methodist Church obtained a quit claim deed on October 13th, 1958 from reorganized school district No. 11 of Howell County.

Today, church services are held three timesa week. Sunday School is at 9:30 A.M., worship at 10:30 A.M. and 7 P.M. Sundays, Wednesday night Bible study is at 7 P.M. and monthly supper and singing are the 4th Saturday night of each month beginning at 7:00 P.M.
